Our Services
Routine Check Ups
We provide personalized care for children of all ages, from newborn to adolescent. During each check up, we will go over your child’s development, growth, nutrition, sleep, and any age-appropriate concerns you may have. Every check up involves a physical exam with measurements and depending on age; blood pressure, vision and hearing screen, and lab tests.

Sick Visits
Tummy pain? Rash? Cough? Fever? Ear pain? The list may go on, but when your child is not feeling well, we’re here for you. We usually provide same-day appointments during regular office hours and offer weekend After Hours (every Saturday morning with the on-call doctor). If we are closed, we provide a nursing phone call service to give medical advice if needed. Of course, if you feel like your child is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911.
Phone Calls
In this day of age, most of us communicate through text message or email. If you have any concerns about your child’s health, we want to make sure your concern is addressed. Unfortunately with emails, things may get lost in translation or sometimes more information is needed. We take pride in maintaining the basics of communicating through phone calls to get the best care. Please note that a physical exam is needed for a diagnosis, therefore, we do not provide diagnosis over the phone. We usually return calls on the same day. If we are busy, we may return your call at the end of the day and if it is unanswered, we will leave a message (please make sure your voicemail box is not full).
After Hours
We are open for sick visits every Saturday from 9am-12pm (with the on-call doctor). If you have an urgent question that needs to be answered outside of office hours, we provide a nursing phone call service to give medical advice if needed. Of course, if you feel like your child is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911.
School Forms
At some point, you may need a school form, camp form, or athletic form filled out. We do not take these forms lightly since this is our way of communicating your child’s health with other caregivers. We spend time making sure your child’s health form is up to date and accurate. Therefore, please allow 1-2 business days to fill out your child’s form and make sure your child’s annual check up is up to date and scheduled within the year.
Prescriptions
We will gladly refill any routine prescriptions. At times, we may need to have your child come in — for example, dosage changes based on your child’s weight or certain medications require side effect monitoring. Please note that we do not call in non-routine prescriptions over the phone since your child will need to be seen to make the correct diagnosis for appropriate treatment.
Insurance
We accept most insurance plans, including PPO, HMO (i.e. Torrance Memorial IPA, Optum) and TRICARE. Please feel free to call our staff to discuss your insurance plan ahead of your appointment.
